Booking & Stay
How do I book a room?
Send us your dates on WhatsApp (use the enquiry form on this site) or call +91 94519 39485. The family confirms availability and your rate directly — no booking platform in between.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 13:00 to 23:00, and check-out is by 12:00. The front desk is open 24 hours, so just tell us your arrival time if you're coming in late.
What do I need to bring at check-in?
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for check-in. International guests should carry their passport and visa.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children of any age are welcome. Please note that cots and extra beds are not available — the Family Room (3 Guests) sleeps up to 3 guests.
What are the house rules?
All rooms are non-smoking. Pets are not allowed, and parties or events can't be hosted at the property.

Can I really watch the Ganga Aarti from my room?
Yes. The Ganga View Double Room faces the river and Dashashwamedh Ghat, so the evening aarti happens right below your window. Every guest can also watch from the rooftop terrace.
How much does a room cost?
The Ganga View Double Room starts from ₹4,703 per night for 2 adults, and the Family Room (3 Guests) from ₹4,950 per night for 3 adults (taxes extra). Message us with your dates for the exact rate.
Is breakfast included?
A fresh vegetarian breakfast is available every morning for ₹350. It's optional, so you can add it when you book or decide on the day.
What facilities do the rooms have?
Every room has air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with free toiletries.
Getting Here
How do I reach the home stay?
We're at D 17/121, Dashashwamedh Ghat Road, Opposite Jal Police, right by Dashashwamedh Ghat. The lane to the ghat is busy and partly pedestrian, so call us when you're close and we'll guide you in from the drop-off point.
How far is the airport and the railway station?
Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport is about 27 km away, Varanasi City station 3.6 km and Kashi station 3.2 km. We're happy to arrange a taxi for you.

What time is the Ganga Aarti?
The aarti takes place every evening around sunset, so the exact time shifts through the year. Ask us on the day and we'll tell you when to be at your window or on the roof.
Can you help with boat rides and temple visits?
Of course. Our family team books sunrise boat rides, helps plan temple visits and arranges taxis — in English or Hindi.
Is Kashi Vishwanath Temple within walking distance?
Yes. Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Godowlia market are a short walk from the home stay through the old city lanes.
